ZNA is asking Zilker residents to focus on the following actions:
- Sign up for Warn Central Texas alerts
- Prepare your “go bag" with important papers, medicines, and travel items so you're ready to leave quickly in case of emergency.
- Look at your own home and make it as safe as possible.

We aim to fulfill requests with Zilker residents who are AFD-trained advisors.
Alternatively, you can conduct a DIY SIZE evaluation without the benefit of a trained advisor.
- Get to know your neighbors! Talk to them about risks and actions we can take to be proactive.
- Work with ZNA on policy issues that include evacuation, land management, and urban planning that prioritizes disaster recovery.
